Registration for the first round of the Dutch Mathematics Olympiad is now open. The first round 2027 can be held from 18 to 29 January. Each school can choose the most suitable day within this period to hold the first round. Go to the competition website to register your school today! You can register your school until 7 January 2027.
To recruit students, you can use the information package (in Dutch) from SLO that was sent out at the beginning of October on behalf of the joint Olympiads. The package consists of poster for the classroom and a concise brochure with information aimed at teachers. There is also a video available in which students who are training for the international competitions share their experiences.
You do not need to register the students who will be participating in the first round at this stage; it is easier to do this afterwards when entering the results. However, it is important that you choose a date and time (between 18 and 29 January 2027) and reserve a room (or rooms). For more information about the first round, see the page Information in English and the page with instructions for organising the first round.
